Business Development Representative

Summary
 

We are looking for a highly self-motivated sales professional who can hit the ground running. You must be activity-driven, have great presentation and communication skills, attention to detail, and have that "hungry" mentality. 

Successful Outside Sales Representatives are individuals who love taking on the challenge of a complex sales process, understand the needs of small business owners and are passionate about helping those businesses. They understand how to turn a cold call into a face-to-face meeting, and then how to work with that prospect to create value for that potential client.

You will be responsible for selling our Managed IT services to small businesses. You will spend your days self-generating leads, following up with existing warm leads, setting appointments, presenting our services to prospective clients, and closing new business.


Duties & Responsibilities
  • Actively participates in weekly sales meeting
  • Actively participates in training and peer group
  • Ensure all documentation and playbooks are updated in a timely manner
  • Meets performance goals and objectives
  • Lead Generation and "Warm" prospect management
  • Actively manages leads through the sales process, attending subsequent appointments as necessary

  • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communications skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm

Desired Qualifications/Background
  • Minimum 3-4 years of selling in a B2B environment
  • You're well-established in your community and foster strong relationships with business owners and C-Level executives.
  • You're a proactive sales professional who has perfected the art of relationship based on sales of intangibles.
  • Strong internal drive to succeed
  • Energetic and entrepreneurial personality
  • Track record of achievement and demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles
  • Willingness to be continually challenged and learn from mistakes
