Summary

The InSight Implementer is responsible for implementing projects for the clients of Technology Associates. Projects can range from cloud/virtualization migrations, O365 migrations, physical server installation, network revamp, disaster recovery/backup installation, VOIP cutover, etc. As such, this position requires the ability to work in various environments with different hardware and software platforms while interacting with clients, team members, and other vendors. It is important that all work be performed correctly, within acceptable time limits, and completed as promised to the client. In this position, the incumbent works on his or her own with only general supervision. The incumbent typically works directly with client staff and management and completes work remotely or onsite as needed. Working hours other than the standard weekday hours will be required from time to time. Travel is mostly local with occasional (est. 2-3 times per month) trips to remote offices.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Follows operating procedures.
  • Follows written project implementation plans and regularly updates customers and management.
  • Installs, updates and configures network, server/workstation, and software/hardware.
  • Conducts appropriate tests/verifications.
  • Provides technical support and training to clients on implemented projects.
  • Provides timely verbal and written communications as required with clients, vendors, and staff.
  • Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Continues to improve technical and customer service skills through continuing education and certifications.
  • Builds relationships with the operations/technical staff of key customers.
  • Ensures all documentation is properly maintained and updated in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates third-party vendors when necessary.

Qualifications

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TECHNICAL POSITION.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a closely related position doing implementations

  • History of IMPLEMENTATIONS in real environments
  • Proven experience with Windows Server operating systems (2008/2012/2016/2019).
  • Proven experience with VMWare, ESXi, and vSphere.
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
  • Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and common protocols.
  • Practical knowledge of AD, ADSync, and GPOs.
  • Practical knowledge of SAN and NAS installation, configuration, and management.
  • ​​​​​​​Practical knowledge of Backup device installation, configuration, and management.
  • Practical knowledge of O365 and M365 configuration and migrations.
  • Practical knowledge of routers/firewalls.
  • Practical knowledge of networking (switches, routers, wireless, VLANs, etc.)
