Position

InSight Administrator
 

Summary

InSight Administrators provide proactive systems administration tasks for the clients of Technology Associates. As such, it requires the ability to work in multiple different environments on many different hardware and software platforms. It is important that all work be performed correctly, within acceptable time limits and when promised to customers. In this position, the incumbent works on his or her own with only general supervision. The incumbent typically works directly with client staff and management and at the client’s site and remotely.

Work hours other than the standard weekday hours as well as on-call coverage for after-hours support will be required from time to time.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Follows operating procedures thoroughly.
  • Build trusting relationships with assigned clients.
  • Conducts reactive ticket analysis and makes proactive recommendations based on findings.
  • Complete backup summary reports for clients to ensure they know exactly what to expect when systems fail. 
  • Ensure all client documentation is properly maintained and updated in a timely manner.
  • Assist project team in developing implementation plans for assigned clients.
  • Conduct daily proactive checklist and best practice audits for assigned clients.
  • Conducts appropriate verifications using the onsite checklist.
  • Provide timely verbal and written communications as required by clients, vendors, and staff.
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and retainment.
  • Continue to improve technical and soft skills through continuing education and certifications.
  • Works closely with the vCIOs to keep them informed of each clients changing needs to help develop roadmap items and project plans.

Qualifications

  • PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TECHNICAL POSITION.
  • 2-4 year college degree
  • At least 2 years of direct work experience in a Network/System Administrator role
